Oregano

Prices vary  based on blend and volatile oil content between US$ 1.100,-- up to US$ 2.630,-- per M/t . Seems likely to stay at present levels for a couple of months but we expect market to become very weak after February 2010 as plenty of stocks and sales have been steady but not much. When raw material oregano is on stock the volatile oil is decreasing each month which brings the price of the raw material down. We advise buyers to buy what they need on the short run. For the moment producers continue to maintain the price but some speculators are trying to sell off their cheap stocks.

Arrivals very slow and it seems like crop is rather short this season..
