Market for Anise seeds more firm but this all due more domestic demand by the producers of the Turkish traditional spirit `Raki` which is produced out of Anise Seed. New crop comes out in July. Syrian origin at much lower levels below US$ 1.350,-- FOB. If Turkey will stay at high levels it will have difficulties to compete with Syrian product for the new crop in July.

Cumin seeds firm both in Turkey as in Syria. For the moment Turkish origin in favour as price levels slightly lower comparing to Syria. Some sales have been reported of Turkish cumin but most buyers are not entering the market and expecting lower levels when new crop in full swing in July both from Turkey as from Syria. Buyers do not want to speculate and just buy what is needed. Most likely the best way to keep the market and prices on steady levels.

New Crop Oregano available for shipments by the 1st week of August. All looks favourable with good weather conditions. Of course price-levels are strongly depending on buying activity by producers / exporters when raw material is entering the market in 2nd half of July. We do not expect much movements in the coming 8 weeks.

Laurel Leaves new crop entering the market in September / October. We are able to offer limited stock of Hand Selected laurel leaves of good quality. Pressed material still available.

Sun Dried Tomatoes drying periode will start after 15th of July untill 1st week of September. New price-levels depending on raw material prices fresh tomatoes in July and the weather conditions during the drying periode.
