Market on quiet and steady levels. This due to lack of demand and quiet market in general. Buyers are waiting for new crop prices coming out for most items in July / August.

Most speculations in the last couple of weeks regarding Cumin Seeds. True, the crop in Turkey is much lower then last season but we still have an overcarry and keeping in mind that all new crop product will enter the market in July from all origins we do not forsee a strong firming up of the prices. We predict prices will remain between the 1300 – 1500 levels during the first months of new crop.

New crop Oregano shipments available by the end of July / beginning of August. The same for Sage. Somewhat lower levels are expected but all is depending on the buying activity of raw material by exporters at the beginning of the season, the 2nd half of July.

Sun Dried Tomato drying periode will start after the 15th of July untill the 1st week of September. Always an exciting periode as weather conditions during drying are very important. It can influence strongly the availability and quality of the product.
