Market very steady and no significant changes. Regular sales are reported by exporters but buyers remain calm and there is no intention to cover for the long run, mainly because new crops are approaching in July / August.

White Poppy seeds is the main item that moved to higher levels in the last week due to shortage of merchandise and higher demand. India is one of the main importers of Turkish White Poppy seeds. New crop Oregano, Sage, Cumin and Anise seeds coming ahead in July so we expect prices to stay stable with no significant movements. Prices often weak from Turkey in this periode as exporters prefer to sell their left stocks agains break-even points instead of keeping the merchandise in their warehouses.
